FTAnalyzer Version 10.0.0.0-beta 1

FTAnalyzer Version 10.0.0.0-beta 1 has been released and this is the first update since February of this year (2022) when version 8.5.2 was released. The jump in version numbering is meant to match the jump in the underlying Framework used to create FTAnalyzer. FTAnalyzer aka Family Tree analyzer is a Windows genealogy app focused on research, such as finding errors in your tree, examining locations of where people lived and moved to over time, as well as showing you information on relatives that you haven’t located in various records (and in some cases, allowing you to search for them using various online services).

Windows 7 (and earlier) Users: Windows 10 or 11 are now required, due to the move from the old .Net Framework to the newer .Net Core 6.0 Framework. This was done for several reasons (listed below), with the biggest being support for modern features and for performance and efficiency

There is a Mac version that is in beta, but has not been updated in three years.
