This week, MacKiev released a new update to Family Tree Maker 2019, bring it up to version 24.1 (Build 520). This is a free update to FTM 2019, and is focused on “important modifications developed together with our data source partners Ancestry and FamilySearch“. This builds upon some of the modifications included in FTM 2019 24.0.1 (Build 242) released in November of 2019 (FTM 2019 came out in October 2019).
MacKiev mentions that new features are included, such as adding the media collection to your Antenna tree (TreeVault Cloud Services) to keep the media stored safely. You can also add “Historical Weather Sentences” to Smart Stories and books to flesh out the eras that your ancestors lived in.
