Clooz 4.4.2

Clooz 4.4.2 was released last week by Ancestral Systems, LLC., yesterday, and with this update, the Windows-based genealogy research tool received mostly bug fixes and an improvement with field sorting in the Composite View.

Clooz interacts directly with four genealogy programs (Ancestral Quest, Family Historian, Legacy Family Tree, RootsMagic) and with all other genealogy programs through GEDCOM files. It manages and organizes your genealogical documents/records to help you determine where else to look for information (“clooz”).

Current users can “Check for Updates” from within Clooz, and interested genealogists can download a demo here: https://shop.clooz.com (Windows 8 – Windows 11 required).

Clooz 4.4.2 Changes – November 6, 2024
Fixed error in the Source Editor when command buttons were double-clicked.
Fixed error in imports when the list of Sources presented in the import wizard is cleared of all selections.
Fixed error when unlinking Subjects in the Information Record Editor.
The Alternate ID field of Sources display length has been increased to match the other long fields (source title, source name, etc.)
The Alternate ID field sorting in the Composite View display will now properly sort text of mixed letters and numbers (had already sorted proper in the Grid type display).
