Clooz 4.4.0 was released by Ancestral Systems, LLC., yesterday and this release, like Clooz 4.3.0, could be considered a semi-major update with around half-a-dozen fixes, and a couple of new features, such as new selections when displaying Sources, Events, or Information Records in the Composite View. RootsMagic users take note – it also fixed an error that can happen when importing from RootsMagic.
For those who haven’t used it, and it is a Windows program, Clooz is a genealogy research tool that interacts directly with four genealogy programs (Ancestral Quest, Family Historian, Legacy Family Tree, RootsMagic) and with all other programs through GEDCOM files. It helps you to manage and organize your genealogical documents/records and provides clues (get it?) about where to look next for records/documents.
Current users can “Check for Updates” from within Clooz, and interested genealogists can download a demo here: https://shop.clooz.com (Windows 8 – Windows 11 required).
