This week, the BBC announced the lineup for Who Do You Think You Are? Series 21, which will be celebrating 20 years of the celebrity-based genealogy TV show (and arguably extremely important in the popularity of genealogy these days).
The Genealogist has all of the details, with the exception of the release date for this summer. For more information, see the BBC page: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007t575
I’ve always enjoyed this show, as well as Finding Your Roots, even when they gloss over the nitty-gritty work of extensive genealogical research.
For a glimpse of what to expect, quoting The Genealogist:
Series 21 will be spanning centuries of history to reveal an extraordinary array of stories from circus antics to embezzlement, a life-changing accident, the Cold War, and stirring tales of triumph against the odds. Viewers will be taken on a journey across the UK and around the world including Ireland, Taiwan, Jamaica and Latvia as the celebrities search for answers to their family tree quests.
