RootsMagic 9 was released in February of 2023 and last updated in May of 2024, (version 9.1.6) and was the 9th version of RootsMagic in the RootsMagic series of genealogy database software from RootsMagic, Inc., developed by Bruce Buzbee. The RootsMagic software first launched in 2003. With RootsMagic 9, “Associations” have been added, making it easy to track friends, associates, and neighbors of people in your genealogy database, color coding and labels have been enhanced, there are new data tools, and saved search criteria, among other new things. It was replaced by RootsMagic 10 in June of 2024
