Legacy Family Tree is an actively developed and maintained genealogy database program originally developed by Ken McGinnis and Dave Berdan with Expressware Corporation, which eventually became Millenia Corporation and is now owned by MyHeritage, Ltd (aka MyHeritage.com). It was first released in June of 1997. It currently relies on the Access Database Engine (ACE/JET), and the database files (*.fdb) can be opened with Microsoft Access.
