iMeUsWe: Family Tree & Stories 3.6 was released last week, and it’s one of the more unique genealogy apps (available for Apple iOS/iPadOS and Google Android). It’s more of a social media app focused on users either from India, or with family members still living in India. It also runs on Macs, and supports Apple Vision.
Version 3.6 adds tagging family members in posts, downloading family trees in PDF format, and other enhancements. Version 3.4 and 3.5 were bug fixes, but version 3.3 back in August enhanced linking relatives. It’s updated fairly often.
It’s a very unique program (and website), in that it’s meant to be an easy-to-use app, functioning both as a social media app to stay in touch with family members and share photos and stories, but also as a genealogical app, tracing a family tree and accessing records (see the screenshots at the bottom of the post).
I wouldn’t mind seeing a more general version of this, that could be used for populations outside of India – the iOS/iPadOS and Android App “Ancestry: Family History & DNA” comes very close (complete with collaboration), but it’s not quite the same in the social media aspect area.

I found some information stating that the website version of the app handles GEDCOM files, but that the mobile versions do not, but that could be subject to change.
They have some DNA testing functionality, but it seems more about health-related testing than genealogical testing.
