MacFamilyTree / MobileFamilyTree Sale Ends November 10

A few months ago, Synium Software released MacFamilyTree 10.4 and MobileFamilyTree 10.4. Seeing as how both are sold through Apple’s App Store, and the App Store doesn’t allow for simple “upgrade” pricing for previous owners of either app (version 9, 8, 7, etc.), Synium Software puts the apps on sale for half-off for those previous owners looking to upgrade (or new users who are interested in the apps).

Version 10.4 of each app was a major upgrade, with improved statistics/heat maps, and on the Mac version, the scanning interface for both photos and documents was redesigned, with a better interface. It’s also now easier to select which scanner you are going to use (and they are detected more quickly on the network if they are network-capable). You can select color, grayscale, or black and white, as well as connect scanners through Bluetooth as well as USB.

Scanners are now detected more quickly on the network. You can choose whether to scan in color, grayscale, or black and white – and even connect scanners via Bluetooth or USB to your Mac!

They can be purchased (or updated) through Apple’s App Store (US version is below, it should redirect non-USA residents to the proper country):

If you’d like to read more about the two apps, I covered both upgrades in detail:
