HuMo-gen 6.8 was released yesterday, and it’s a major update to the free, PHP-based online genealogy application with the developer noting that a large number of scripts have been changed.
Among the new features, improved photo processing and search features. The editor has been improved (witness texts can be added), and drag & drop/ordering of family trees was also improved. More changes and fixes listed below.
They advise you to use at least PHP 8.0 – 8.2 and has been tested up through PHP 8.2.15. If you currently deploy it, update within HuMo-gen itself or you can update manually from the SourceForge project site: https://sourceforge.net/projects/humo-gen/files or the main page: https://humo-gen.com/. ALWAYS remember to backup your database before upgrading.
You have two ways of entering data – manually editing your family tree directly online, or import a GEDCOM file from your genealogy program. You can view a demo here (humo-gen.com) at the official site.
