Last week, HuMo-gen 6.8.2 was released. It’s a free, PHP-based online genealogy application and while this this was not as major of an update as most recent releases, it still added canonical url’s in family pages. Canonical URLs are those website addresses that are considered the “best” when there are duplicate pages.
Site maps were also improved if there are more than 50,000 records, and there is an improved PDF export.
They advise you to use at least PHP 8.0 – 8.2 and has been tested up through PHP 8.2.15. If you currently deploy it, update within HuMo-gen itself or you can update manually from the SourceForge project site: https://sourceforge.net/projects/humo-gen/files or the main page: https://humo-gen.com/. ALWAYS remember to backup your database before upgrading.
