These are the “minor” genealogy software updates that have been released since last Sunday, November 10, 2024. Mainly bug fixes and optimizations. There’s been quite a few updates over the last week.
Note: iOS/iPadOS (iPhone, iPad) and Google Android updates, as well as browser extensions, need to be downloaded from their respective stores. It’s not uncommon for the version numbers and release dates between the same app on different platforms (iPhone vs Android) to be different or slightly off. When the updates are the same between two platforms, the updates are only listed once.
If you don’t see an update to a particular genealogy app/program that you know received an update, that’s probably because it’s going to be featured in its own article later this weekend.

- Ancestry: Updated the service in response to a URL change where some URLs are in a new format (example)
- In the example record, the Spouse Field value is a link to another record, and the URL for that link uses the new format. Prior to this update, ORA was not recognizing the value as a link to another person’s record, and due to some link filtering, was not including Spouse as a Field in the OraPanel.
