Just over a week ago, on January 28th, 2025, MacFamilyTree 11 and MobileFamilyTree 11 were released, and they were major updates to the MacFamilyTree and MobileFamliyTree lines.
Both of them are still available for 50% off through the Apple Mac App Store and the Apple iOS/iPadOS App Store.
Over the last week, there have been a few updates released to fix release problems, as well as adding/improving a few things. Sorting families by family name with the website/HTML output was added.
I’ve listed all of the updates to both apps below, and you’ll notice that with the exception of one issue, all of the changes to both apps are the same. They are built off of the same codebase – starting in 2011, MobileFamlyTree Pro (the predecessor to MobileFamilyTree 7, which lined up with MacFamlyTree) was a direct port of MacFamilyTree to iOS/iPadOs.
If you already own either or both, you can update through the App Store, or purchase them through the App Store.
