The past few days have seen Ancestry.com release what appears to be a major update for the iOS/iPadOS mobile cemetery app, Find a Grave. If you use the app, you know it gives you an easy way to access the burial and genealogy information on FindAGrave.com (easier than using an iPhone or iPad browser), but the main focus is supposed to be about helping you to document, photograph, and add GPS locations to memorials/graves.
I *thought* this feature already existed, but this tells you how much (or rather how little) I’ve used it in recent years – Find a Grave 1.23, while it comes with many “small changes and bug fixes” adds this nifty feature:
View lists of photo requests from your volunteer cemeteries and near your location
I really could have sworn that already existed, but I’ve also used the web version on my mobile devices, so..
Find a Grave 1.23.1 is just a bug fix for a crash on the iPad.
You can download it through the iOS/iPadOS App Store (US App Store, should redirect to the proper store in other countries):
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/find-a-grave/id732952190
It currently has access to 225 million graves 500,000 cemeteries around the world.
