GEDKeeper v2.32 for Windows and GEDKeeper v3.8.0 for Linux, Windows, Mac, Android was released a few days ago, and it’s a major update (technically 2-3 updates). GEDKeeper is a free genealogy program/database that fully supports the GEDCOM file format and is meant to be a quick way to edit your genealogy data. It even comes with support for exporting geographic data for Google Maps and OpenStreetMap, as well as plugin support and Lua-scripting support.
Among the major changes – several language localizations have been updated (plus help is fully translated into Spanish). Filters have been improved, tree diagrams have additional options available (and can be saved to PDF files), map options updated, and a few issues were fixed. Filtering and quick search methods were also combined.
It’s an open-source project, and just to clarify the version system (some updates are backported for Windows NET 4.7.1):
