Back in April, Genery Software announced that anybody purchasing a digital license for Agelong Tree 5 after April 24, 2024 would receive the same type of license for Agelong Tree 6, for free, leading us to believe that the new version of it’s Windows and macOS genealogy software was not too far off. The last update/release of Agelong Tree 5 was Agelong Tree 5.6 build 2021.09.09 (just over three years ago – September of 2021). We know that Agelong Tree 6 has been in development during that time.
Looks like it’s getting close – somebody asked in the Agelong Tree forums earlier this month (link) about the release date, and the official response was “Hello, we hope to release it in a few months.” This tracks from comments they made in the same thread going back to August of last year and looking to release it in 2024.
So hopefully Agelong Tree 6 will be out this year!
