WikiTree Sourcer 2.8.0

WikiTree Sourcer 2.8. was released a few days ago and it’s a major update to the browser extension for Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. It helps you find, extract data, and cite sources from other websites while you are browsing a WikiTree profile page.

There’s a few small updates for Firefox, and for all users, alerting you if you are not logged in to WikiTree or if there are no permissions. FamilySearch data extraction was improved, some useful updates to Ancestry.com support, and mainly updates/fixes for working with the searches on various archive/records sites.

These are the supported genealogical sites:

It is free extension for Chrome and Firefox users (you can donate), but does cost a small fee ($4.99 USD) for Apple (macOS, iOS, iPadOS) users as Apple charges a yearly fee to publish through the App Store.
